1. What is a removable dinghy mount?
A removable dinghy mount is a system that allows a dinghy (e.g., inflatable boat, tender) to be securely attached to a main boat and quickly removed when needed.
2. For which types of boats is the mount suitable?
Depending on the model, the mount can be used for sailing yachts, motorboats, or houseboats that have a swim platform.
We recommend measuring the dimensions of the dinghy first and comparing them with the swim platform.
The load capacity and stability of the platform must be compatible with the weight of the dinghy.

4. How is the mount installed?
The mount is screwed directly onto the swim platform using the installation sleeves.
After installing the sleeves, the supplied Iroko teak wooden parts must be cut to match the hull of the dinghy (use a cardboard template of the hull).
A detailed installation manual is included with the system.
We recommend having the installation carried out by a professional.
5. Can I install the mount myself?
Only to a limited extent, depending on your craftsmanship and tools. As a rule, we recommend having the installation done by a professional workshop.
6. What is the maximum load capacity?
The load capacity depends on the size and stability of the boat’s swim platform. Please refer to the manufacturer’s specifications of your boatyard and do not exceed the maximum permitted load.
7. What material is the mount made of?
The sleeves, counterparts, and fittings for the fastening straps are made of stainless steel AISI 316 (V4A) to ensure maximum stability and durability.
The two wooden parts are made of Iroko teak, making them robust and low-maintenance.
The straps are made of polyester.
The supplied screws are also stainless steel (4A).
8. Is the mount resistant to seawater?
Yes, the dinghy mount is specifically designed for use in saltwater and is corrosion resistant.
9. Can I remove the mount when not in use?
Yes, that is exactly the advantage. With just a few steps, the mount can be removed and stored in a space-saving way.
When needed, it is inserted into the sleeves, the dinghy is placed on top and secured with straps.
10. What maintenance does the mount require?

- Visually inspect for damage before each trip
11. Does the mount fit every dinghy?
Normally yes, as long as it is a standard-size dinghy.
12. Are spare parts available?
